Angela Brower will sing Cherubino, one of her signature roles, in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at Bayerische Staatsoper this autumn. Ms. Brower sings alongside a seasoned cast, including soprano Diana Damrau as the Countess Almaviva and baritone Mariusz Kwiecień as Count Almaviva. Performances take place November 13, 16, 18 & 20 at the Nationaltheater. Antonello Manacorda conducts the Bayerisches Staatsorchester for all dates, which highlight a staging designed by Jürgen Rose and directed by Dieter Dorn.

Ms. Brower’s Cherubino can also be heard on a newly released Deutsche Grammophon recording of the opera, captured at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden in 2015.
