‘Le nozze di Figaro’ and ‘Così fan tutte’ in Versailles

This January, Angela Brower reprises Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and Dorabella in Così fan tutte at l’Opéra Royal de Versailles under the baton of Marc Minkowski.

These performances are part of the company’s week-long Mozart-Da Ponte Trilogy presentation, co-produced with Opéra National de Bordeaux and Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu. Ivan Alexandre’s direction of the infamous trilogy uses a flexible yet dazzling set where the three stories intersect through common themes and characters who travel from one work to another.

In Le nozze di Figaro, Ms. Brower will share the stage with Thomas Dolié as Il Conte di Almaviva, Anna Maria Labin as La Contessa di Almaviva, Robert Gleadow as Figaro, Miriam Albano as Cherubino, Alix le Saux as Marcellina, Norman Patzke as Bartolo/Antonio, Paco Garcia as Basilio/Don Curzio and Manon Lamaison as Barbarina.

The cast of Così fan tutte will also feature Anna-Maria Labin as Fiordiligi, Miriam Albano as Despina, James Ley as Ferrando, Florian Sempey as Guglielmo and Alexandre Duhamel as Don Alfonso.

You can see Ms. Brower perform in Le nozze di Figaro on January 15 and 20, and in Così fan tutte on January 18 and 22.
