‘Il barbiere di Siviglia’ at Norwegian National Opera

This October, Angela Brower stars as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia with the Norwegian National Opera under the baton of Daniel Cohen.

This marks Ms. Brower’s much-anticipated return to the beautiful city of Oslo after the pandemic shut down live performances of the production in 2020.

Directed by Jetske Mijnssen, this fresh take on the comic opera highlights the dysfunctional, family-like relationships between the different characters. Joining Ms. Brower on stage is Gurgen Baveyan as Figaro, Michele Angelini as Count Almaviva, Marco Filippo Romano as Dr. Bartolo, Eline Korbi as Berta, Clive Bayley and Jens-Erik Aasbø sharting duties as Don Basilio, and Sakarias Fredriksen Tranvåg as Fiorello.

The performances take place on October 2, 8, 12, 15, 18, 21, 26, and 29.
