‘La clemenza di Tito’ at Staatsoper Hamburg

Angela Brower will take the stage as Sesto in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito at Staatsoper Hamburg on October 16, 20, 22, and 26.

Directed by Jetske Mijnssen, this production brings a contemporary, psychological perspective to Mozart’s final opera, delving into universal themes of power, love, betrayal, and forgiveness. The fresh approach uncovers the emotional complexities of the characters, offering a modern interpretation of this classic work.

Under the baton of conductor Ben Glassberg, the stellar cast also includes Oleksiy Palchykov as Tito, Tara Erraught as Vitellia, Olivia Boen as Servilia, Kady Evanyshyn as Annio, and William Guanbo Su as Publio.
