Le nozze di Figaro and Così fan tutte at Gran Teatre del Liceu

This April, Angela Brower will make her highly anticipated role debut as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and reprise her signature role of Dorabella in Così fan tutte with Gran Teatre del Liceu.

These performances are part of the company’s productions of the Mozart-Da Ponte trilogy throughout the month, which also includes Don Giovanni. All three operas will be conducted by Marc Minkowski and directed by Ivan Alexandre.

Appearing alongside Ms. Brower in Le nozze di Figaro will be Thomas Dolié as Count Almaviva, Ana-Maria Labin as Countess Almaviva, Robert Gleadow as Figaro, Lea Desandre as Cherubino, Alix Le Saux as Marcellina, Norman D. Patzke as Bartolo and Antonio, Paco Garcia as Basilio and Don Curzio and Mercedes Gancedo as Barbarina.

Joining Ms. Brower in Così fan tutte will be Ana-Maria Labin as Fiordiligi, James Ley as Ferrando, Robert Gleadow as Guglielmo, Miriam Albano as Despina, Alexandre Duhamel as Don Alfonso.

Her performances of Le nozze di Figaro will take place on April 7 and 19 while Così fan tutte will be performed on April 9, 13, 21 and 25.
